The first picture is a lovely detailed photograph of the interior of the Manor House Tea Rooms (now a private residence known as - "The Thatched House"), possibly dating from the 1930s.

The second picture is an early photograph of the former Village Shop, Queen's House and the School House, possibly dating from the early 1900s.

.....and here is a photograph by Peter Mackness of the same buildings in February 2009, in which the outlines of the "Sunlight Soap" advertisement can still be seen on the gable end wall.
