SULGRAVE VILLAGE SHOP AND POST OFFICE

The shop is a "not for profit" venture and any profits will be reinvested to improve the business or used to support other community activities. The aim is to provide a selection of quality, locally produced fare not generally found in supermarkets and at competitive prices.
The Post Office is housed within the Village Shop and from Tuesdays to Fridays provides a range of services including banking and cash withdrawal facilities for customers of the Alliance and Leicester, Barclays, Co-operative Bank and Lloyds TSB. In addition, standard tariff postage stamps are available during the normal opening hours of the shop.

Saturday Morning - bread freshly baked by a volunteer

Bread is baked on the premises, including croissants and petit pains every Saturday and Sunday.

Cakes, fruit pies, tarts and scones are all locally made, as are some of the biscuits.

A new range of locally made ice cream is stocked, with flavours such as English strawberry, banoffee, toffee and Belgian choclolate.

Fresh fruit and vegetables are seasonal and include local produce.

The deli counter now offers a greater selection of cheeses (Brie, Camembert, farmhouse Cheddar, Dolcelatte, goats' cheese, Cornish Yarg amongst others). There is also an interesting choice of smoked and cured meats, salami, speck, pates, pies, sausages, smoked or cured salmon and many other delicious items.

There is a carefully selected range of wines of excellent quality that provide good value at reasonable prices.

The range of chilled and frozen products is always changing to provide a selection to suit the season and customers' requirements.

The range of greetings cards has been increased and now provides an excellent choice for most occasions.
