SULGRAVE BOOK CLUB
(Home)

The village bookclub meets every fourth Tuesday of the month in the Star Inn.
It's all very informal, on average 8 to 10 members (out of around 20) meet to discuss the chosen book of the month and swap recommendations of "good reads" over a glass or two.

The book choice is very varied, we each make nominations and then the annual list is 'drawn'. This means we get to read books we would never have dreamt of buying ourselves, some you will love...some you will loath, as well as old favourites we have read and recommended ourselves.

We choose a new list each year, so are able to keep up with new publications as well as reading old classics.

Come along if you enjoy reading, I get the books as cheaply as possible, sometimes "good as new", from the internet, so you don't even have to go out and find them yourself.

The group meet at 8 o’clock, no meetings in August & December. The list of meetings and dates are also updated on the village web site and in the newsletter.
